The unit has a great website that tells you about life on the wards. It has lots of tips for children who are about to undergo surgery and their parents, and all sorts of information about heart defects.
There’s a teen zone and kids club that are full of stories and games to help prepare children for their visits to hospital.
There's even a site for adults and parents to help you gain insight into what to expect.
