Cononley Singers Video

The Cononley Singers, a choir from Skipton has joined forces with the Children's Heart Surgery Fund to fight against a decision to remove life saving heart surgery facilities from the Leeds General Infirmary.

Led by parent Lois Brown, whose daughter Amelia, 3yrs, was treated at the LGI after being born with a heart defect, the choir recorded a specially written version of the Elton John and Kiki Dee classic "Don't go breaking my heart" to try and save the vital services in the heart of Yorkshire.
