Parent Joanne Britton has decided that for her son Ethan’s 13th birthday party, she is going to raise funds for the CHSF. Joanne says "To celebrate Ethan’s 13th birthday, as my way of saying thank you for saving Ethan’s life 13 years ago, we want to give something back".
Between them, a football themed event has been arranged for Saturday 25th September 2010, starting at 6.30pm with a penalty shoot out on one of the outdoor pitches at Goals, Kings Road, Bradford. There will also be a raffle and a few games including name the teddy, guess how many sweets etc plus a DJ. Parent Mick Uttley has arranged a Golf Day on Sunday 8th August at Phoenix Golf Club, Brinsworth, Rotherham, tee off at 12pm. The event is limited to 20 teams, 4 man team (stableford 3/4 handicap max 24 – 1/2/3 to score from 4 players on 1-6/7-12/13-18 holes)
Price is £180 per team which includes: Balls and freebies (divot tools/tees etc), bacon sandwich & drink, 18 hole competition, 1/2 way house for refreshments, nearest pin / longest drive / beat the Pro-Amateur / putting competition. There will be a 2 Course meal and presentation. PLUS booby prizes i.e. best dressed/worst dressed!! Also, fantastic prizes to be had including tour bags/carry bags, balls & accessories. All proceeds to the CHSF.

Parent Claire Ashall has arranged a James Bond themed casino party night at Leigh Masonic Hall, ‘The Ellesmere Suite’, Leigh on Saturday 12th June. Tickets are £10 each – this includes a drink on arrival, poker chips and canapés. The night includes roulette, black jack and poker.
