OUR MISSION
To support the Leeds Congenital Heart Unit as a world-class centre of excellence – by providing the funding and resources needed to care for a patient’s heart, mind, family and future.
We provide life-saving medical equipment for the Leeds Congenital Heart Unit, parent accommodation for families and vital ward resources. We also fund staff training, scientific research and new clinical roles. Our board of trustees meets regularly to review major requests for funding, and the board includes pioneering medical experts from the Heart Unit.
CHSF are wholly funded by your donations, and because of YOU we are able to help over 17,000 babies, children and adults living with congenital heart disease (CHD) each year. Thanks to you, your work colleagues, child’s school, local community, family and friends, CHSF can support hearts for life. Please continue to fundraise and spread our vital message.
