SCAR SELFIE

Every scar tells a story.

Thank you for celebrating your scars with us and showing the world your Scar Selfie!

Every year on #NationalSelfieDay (21 June) we ask you to share a snap of your scar using the hashtag #ScarSelfie.

Why? To raise awareness of congenital heart disease, fundraise for CHSF and empower the world to celebrate their scars.

How to get involved

  • Snap a new #ScarSelfie or find a photo of yourself showing your scar. (This could be recent or you as a baby.)

  • Tell your scar story to family and friends on social media

  • You could even add your photo to a #ScarSelfie fundraising page to encourage donations from family and friends!

Share your scar selfie with pride in a social media post on Wednesday 21 June. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #ScarSelfie and tag Children’s Heart Surgery Fund in your post!

Find CHSF on social media and don’t forget to tag us in on the day.
